Aggression in dogs
Aggression in dogs can occur when their life is threatened or over territory. If a violent incident happens between two dogs, it is likely to happen again.
To deal with this, try to stay as calm as possible and keep a safe distance when aggression is being shown. Speak to the dogs in a calm voice, gently asking them to settle down and stop.
Staying still in one place helps, as does ignoring them when there is no threat to their wellbeing, acting normally as if the incident were not happening.
Of course, in some cases there is no other way than to separate them for a while so they can calm down. In serious cases you can throw water to separate them.
In any case, do not offer food during the incident and stay calm.
